I headed outside and planted my new rhododendrons...
...sectioned off my vegetable garden area...
...seeded the mud pit in the front yard, in the hopes of someday having actual grass there...
..and came inside to watch a movie with The Hubbs. We chilled out for a little while before J and A arrived from the wedding to stay the night at The Hubbo Family Bed and Breakfast.
A girl after my own heart!
ReplyDeleteAll of your hard work really paid off. The place looks BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm really impressed with all of the changes and how wonderfully they look. I'm sure the grass will come in now that the Girls are sectioned off to the rest of the yard. Plus, that helps protect the Bike and Lilies of the Valley too :)
ReplyDeleteHow nice to find out that the plant someone gave me and planted is a rhododendron. Don't know if it will last in my yard (they say it's a shade plant but one has to question how much shade and what happens if it doesn't rain, get really hot and no ones around to give it water??) but I have to wonder. The flowers are so pretty - but, of course right when it is blooming the roses are totally at the moment of opening we left and are now in CO!
