As Promised...Easter Pics

For those of you who haven't heard the story yet, I crocheted The Princess's Easter dress this year.  It was the biggest project I had ever taken on, and it turned out beautifully.  And then I forgot to bring my camera to Easter at the in-laws' house.

I know, right?  Shame on me.

Thank goodness Nana and Auntie J came to my rescue by sending some pictures from their cameras.

Candid shot of the whole family...kudos to Nana for catching the little one sitting still, and so sweetly, to boot!

Here we are with The Princess Uncle Adam and cousin K, hammin' it up:

Nobody here but us chickens...notice my matching scarf?  Pretty cool, eh?  Yeah.  I made that, too.  :)

I know this is really similar to the one you just saw, but The Princess is actually almost smiling.  And looking at the camera.  At the same time.   That makes this worth sharing, even though I'm so overheated I look as though I'm about to explode.

Fortunately, The Princess recognized the situation and pulled me outside for some fresh air and a great shot of the entire dress.

Here's The Hubbs, Auntie J, and cousin Matthew supervising as A (in purple) and K (in green) play in the rocks.  The Princess is doin' her own thang...

And this, my friends, is what it's all about.  Da sure knows how to get that little girl squealin' in delight.  And her dress looks great, doesn't it?  ;)

Here's a series of five of the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen of my little girl, all taken by her godmomma, Auntie J.  I do believe I'm officially coveting that spiffalicious camera of yours now, lady!

The Princess signing "please" with her left hand:

The Princess and Momma enjoyin' the breeze:

Whatcha doin' back there, Auntie J?  You sure you wouldn't rather be playin' in the rocks with me?

Here's "please" with the right hand, just to change things up a bit:

Look, Momma...wind!

Thanks again, Nana, for throwing yet another great party!  And, of course, for saving my butt (you too, Jello!)...I'd never live it down if there were no pictures to post, especially after all the secrecy leading up to Easter.  :)
