Gap

Not to beat a dead horse or anything, but there is nothing cuter in my book than the gap between her teeth.

Meet the Family

Daisy Mae (aka Momma): Well, that'd be me. I'll be the narrator for all of the goings-on here at our little yellow house. I don't use real names here for privacy reasons, and if we know each other in real life, I ask that you extend that courtesy as well when commenting here.

The Hubbs: The only man in this world crazy enough to choose me for life, and I thank God for him every day.

The Princess: Our bright, funny, beautiful daughter, born in 2007, diagnosed with autism in 2009, stealing hearts since she was still known as Pasquale and kicking me from the inside, and generally taking the world by storm.

Bubbles: Our first kid - the original big, beautiful, buxom bulldog. Born in 2005, she went through everything with us, and we lost her to what we believe to have been aggressive cancer in June 2014. She's still gonna come up in conversation a lot, so you should probably know who she is.

Sookie (aka Piggy, Sweets, etc.): Our second kiddo has about 274 nicknames, so if you ever hear a wacky name around here that you don't understand, it's probably her. Born in 2006, Piggy is our middle child - Bubbles' kid sister, and big sis to The Princess and mom-ster (mom/sister) to Ellie. She represents all that is good and furry in our world. If you know her personally, you already know to go for her "fnuff" - the super soft fur right between her eyes. Scritch her there, and you've got a friend for life. Careful, though: she has a tendency to pet you back if you have the nerve to stop.

Ellie: Piggy's stupid baby, who joined our family on Halloween 2015. We think she's a Jack Russell mix, though we don't know for sure. Affectionately known as Ellie Ellie Smelly Belly, she's the breath of fresh air we didn't know we desperately needed. She has shaved about 5 years off Pig's apparent age, getting her big sis to play and romp and stomp just like she used to do with Bubbles.

Grumma and Grumpa (aka The Grumps): My besties, and also my parents.

Hambone: My big bro.

Uncle D: The Hubbs' best friend/brutha from anutha mutha.
